TED talk Anna Heringer

02/11/17

It’s not just what she does, but how she does it and the enthusiasm she puts into it. Architect Anna Heringer tells us in this TED Talk how she built a school using local materials like stone and mud. And how the entire community collaborated in its construction and design, including, of course, the students themselves.

If English isn’t your strong suit, Spanish subtitles are also available. It’s worth listening to her because she not only talks about architecture; she talks about local economy, resource management, and sustainability. She talks about a school where children enjoy a space created by and for them, she talks about the future
